St Mary’s School enjoys being part of a close knit community. Recently we have been involved in a number of activities and projects within our locality:
We collected crisp packets and toothpaste tubes and deposited them at the Post Office to be sent to the Philippines where they will be made into bags and items for reuse and resale.
We have donated 78 textbooks and a book case to Buildonbooks.com who will take them to Sierra Leone for school children there to use.
We regularly collect funds for Haiti.
£930 was donated by family and friends of St Mary’s for the Pakistani Flood Appeal.
Our work with the Rotary Club has sent several Shelter Boxes abroad for flood and famine relief.
We send shoeboxes to “Smile” as Christmas presents for disadvanted children overseas.
