Thank you for visiting St Mary’s website which we hope you will find informative and enjoyable.

St Mary’s is a church school. Christian values and beliefs form the basis of our school ethos and are reflected in our teaching and in the daily life of our school – this all supports our vision which balances excellence and compassion in all we do.

Importantly, we have a strong sense of community where all members of the school are encouraged to show compassion and value each other. St Mary’s is also very much part of the wider community in Twickenham. The history of the school dates back to 1645, so we have a long and successful tradition of providing education for local children.

The children are guided to grow personally, academically, morally, socially and spiritually in an inspiring and creative environment. At the core of our vision is a determination to strive for excellence, to foster resilience and a love of learning, in all children, that will endure long after they leave us, enabling them to adapt easily to whatever future challenges they may meet throughout their lives.

St Mary’s is a three form, three site school with excellent teaching and learning resources on each site: Amyand Park Road for Reception and Year 1, Strafford Road for Years 2 and 3 and Richmond Road houses Years 4, 5 and 6.

Although the website will give you an overview of St Mary’s, you may like to come and meet us to get a better understanding of our school. Please arrange a visit by calling the school office or email admissions@st-marys.richmond.sch.uk. We also have a short video on our homepage and extended virtual tour of the school on our Admissions page.
