Our final day in Bude once again didn’t disappoint. The routine of waking up and being dressed and ready for the day in 15 minutes is surely one parents will like to keep up – no pressure parents. The morning run and swim is also a great way to start the day: out amongst nature and being active and healthy. Two habits we hope continue.

The daily hearty cooked breakfasts might be one habit to put to bed to protect the heart. But certainly necessary fuel for the type of day we’ve been living.

Today there were no new activities but everyone had the chance to try things they hadn’t experienced in the week yet: team trail, surfing, body boarding and kayaking.

It really has been another great day, topped off by chicken goujons and chocolate cake with chocolate sauce. After dinner, the children had the simple task of tidying their rooms and packing bags. We gave them half an hour; they were finished in an hour plus! So many socks without owners mysteriously finding their way to room floors.

Tonight is presentation night; more on that later…
