Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. Knowing this, we are dedicated in engaging and inspiring children to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians. We have singing assemblies on all three sites every week, enjoying Christian hymns as well as modern songs. We recognise the impact that singing has on our wellbeing and happiness. Our Chamber Choir is widely recognised for its quality and continues to grow in terms of its reach and impact. All Year 4 children have the opportunity to learn a brass instrument through Richmond Arts as part of their music lessons – something carried on by many in Year 5 through lunchtime lessons. We also have a wide variety of private lessons available during the school day.
